Digital innovation process in the academic sector - The case of the University of Geneva

In this paper, we describe an innovative process towards digital transformation in the high-educational field, developed at University of Geneva since 2016. It aims to provide novel services identified proactively as high value for improving student and university members experience. This approach is made possible through our Digital Innovation Hub its different tools. One these tools “Accelerator science services”, born from original combined effort two main actors university: The Information Systems Division (DISTIC) entity, providing professional expertise developing deploying services, Computer Science Center (CUI), research-led innovations. Through Accelerator, experiment incrementally build new be scaled up deployed. paper reports on experience gathered throughout establishment impact governance structure.
